So I’ll admit it. I’ve been cheating on fashion with interior a bit recently…Lee & I are in the process of looking to buy our first home so I’ve gone all crazy and started making a wish list of things I need/want, probably don’t need them at all! and I’ve even started sprucing up our flat with things that I want to take to our new home whenever that will be!
Whilst in the midst of my interior craze, I came across a company from my neck on the woods, a company from The Lake District who specialise in candles and reed diffusers. I have so many candles in the flat I have a bit of an obsession with them so this brand was right up my street! They have collaborated with homeware designer Yvonne Ellen, who by the way does the most gorgeous vintage inspired tableware, I’ve got so many of her things on my ‘To buy list’ the Flamingo & Giraffe plates & the ‘Gin’ tea cup & saucer are my favourites. Definitely check out her website! www.yvonneellen.com
I will admit, I am a little fussy with what scents I use in my home so when I received two sets I was chuffed as I can use them across throughout two rooms in the flat. I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, or a candle by its box for that matter! but how gorgeous is this packaging!? Yvonne’s designs are just stunning!
I decided to place this ‘Exotic Fig’ scent in the home office. I love a fruity fresh scent when I’m working especially when its this close to summer this is a perfect exotic mix to lift your mood and keep you motivated.
The tranquil tide is currently sitting on my lovely bookshelf its quite a masculine scent but I love it, I love lavender & geranium so this is the perfect one to have in the living room when your winding down after a long day.
What I love about this range is that each collection has been specially created with scents that work perfectly and compliment one and other and with the beautiful designs you can place these anywhere in your home and they blend perfectly with your interior style, wax lyrical has some more gorgeous designs and scents on their website check them out here and let me know what you think!
Hope you enjoyed the post!
Love, Nina x
